Tamtego wrześniowego dnia
o świcie
demony wojny
wstały, spragnione krwi
i wyruszyły na żer.
Ziemia pamięta krzyk
ofiar ognistej paszczy...
Nie było spokojnych nocy
bo zamiast słów kołysanki
jesienny wiatr niósł
huk armatnich kul.
Spopielałe dni
straszyły widmem śmierci,
a jednak
nie zabrały okruchów nadziei,
gdy dorosłość
przychodziła za szybko
a człowiek nie był
lepszy od bestii ...

English version of the poem:

On that September day
at dawn
demons of war
stood up, thirsty for blood
and set off on a chow.
Earth remembers cries
victims of feral jaws ...
There was no quiet night
because instead of lullaby words
autumn wind carried
of cannon balls noise
Ashed day
scared with the specter of death,
and yet
they did not take the crumbs of hope,
when adulthood
was coming too fast
and the man was not
better than the beast ...

gdyby jaśmin
wciąż tłumił w sobie żal
po ostatnim opadłym jesienią
liściu
to nie mógłby na wiosnę
zakwitnąć cudownym zapachem
śnieżno-białych płatków
bo nic nie trwa wiecznie
panta rhei- zmienia się świat

gdyby wiśnia
nadal załamywała gałęzie
i roniła łzy po odchodzących latem
owocach
to nie znalazłaby chęci i odwagi
by wiosną znów założyć
różową sukienkę
bo nic nie trwa wiecznie

popatrz na niebo i
leć myślami ku obłokom
swobodny jak wiatr

otwartych dróg
nie szukaj rozumem
lecz głosem serca

on the off-roads of life

similarity of paths
makes you feel
like dizziness

look at the sky and
fly with thoughts to the clouds
as free as the wind

open roads
don't search with the mind
but with a voice of heart
